One fine day, I have been browsing different options through Google Merchant Center and enabled/disabled some settings. But the next day, GMC surprised me with some warnings like the below
products have the issue: Missing inventory data in the notifications tab
We had more than 1000 products and it baffled me a lot, that I can’t recollect what changes I had made the previous day.
I finally found that I had enabled Free local listings in the Add-On section. In fact, that was the reason this error popped up all of a sudden. Note that this is not a bug, and it has a purpose, but not for me, as I run only an online store.
You can disable it if you don’t have a local store or you don’t need to manage the local inventory.
Steps to disable Free local listings
1) Go to Add On From the Setting menu in the top right corner
2)Click on the Your Addons tab find the Free local listings and remove it
That’s it, if you go to the Free local listings, the errors will not be there.
